Burghound.com Top Value Choice of the Week

Suggestion from July 06 2017

Wine: 2005 Chassagne-Montrachet

Producer: Maison Olivier Leflaive

Comment: A ripe herbal and floral nose that is unusually complex merges into rich, full and powerful but not heavy medium weight flavors possessing good detail, terrific intensity and serious finishing punch. This offers a flat out excellent villages and it's rare to see this kind of quality. One to buy.

Score: 91 Drink: 2009+
