FOLLOWING ARE FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Conditions of Use – Terms and Conditions – Please read carefully!

BURGHOUND.COM SUBSCRIPTIONS:

Processing of Orders: As soon as you hit “submit”, assuming credit card approval, our system will immediately send you an e-mail response acknowledging your subscription. (A declined order is usually due to using an invalid credit card, a typo while inputting the number or expiration date, or a fraud prevention placed on a card, in which case you need to contact your credit card company.) New subscribers and those renewing from a new e-mail address will immediately receive an AUTOMATED e-mail with a link to use to select a personal password and log in to the Burghound Members’ areas. Often this automated e-mail reply containing your password information is diverted by a “spam filtering” system, so we strongly recommend that you keep a close eye on your e-mail, including “junk” folders, after placing your subscription order. Also, take care to enter your e-mail address exactly. Even a minor typo may make it impossible for us to contact you.

Database Access: The subscription period, and database access, is based on Burghound.com being a quarterly publication. Each new subscriber shall have access to four quarterly issues for each year of the subscription term (and to the complimentary immediate back issue). Database access is concurrent with receipt of the four quarterly issues which time frame can vary depending when in a quarter a new subscriber enrolls. Upon a timely renewal, subscribers are set to a full year of access to the database. If maximum database access is important to you, to find out where in a quarter a new subscription will fall please write MrsBurghound@Burghound.com.  Quarters begin on the 10th of January, April, June and October of each year (e.g.,, a new subscription on March 1, 2017 will expire on January 10, 2018  – for a one year subscription).

Subscription Automatic Renewal: By accepting the terms and conditions you agree to automatic renewals.  We will send you a minimum of two e-mails notifying you of your expiring subscription and its impending automatic renewal.   You are under no obligation to renew your subscription and may notify us of your intention to not renew or change subscription terms at that time.  If we do not hear from you, your subscription will automatically renew for the same term.

Subscription Refund Policy:  For subscriptions there will be no full refund of fees paid.  If notified within two calendar days of subscribing of the desire to cancel the subscription, a prorated refund (less the cost of the two issues received, and travel guide if applicable) will be issued, since two issues are immediately received by a new subscriber. For individual issues and travel guides ordered and paid for, there will be NO refunds since the item is delivered upon order.

Cancellation Notice for Users of E-Sommelier: if a Burghound subscriber utilizes eSommelier as their cellar management system, we reserve the right to terminate your subscription without prior notice, with no refund of fees and no chance of reactivation.   Therefore, it is suggested if you use eSommelier, that you do not subscribe as our automated system may terminate your access permanently with no refund due.
